Silicon Breast Augmentation (Full Open View / Dual Plane Method)
The dual plane method (dual plane breast augmentation) is a technique where a silicone implant is inserted beneath the pectoralis major muscle in the upper portion of the breast, and above the pectoralis major muscle (beneath the mammary gland) in the lower portion, meaning two layers.
The "Dual Plane Method" was developed in 2001 as a surgical technique to compensate for the drawbacks of the conventional "Submuscular Method."
The "Submuscular Method" has the advantage of making the silicone outline less visible by inserting the silicone beneath the muscle even for patients with naturally small breasts, but it also had disadvantages such as the silicone shifting upward and the breast moving rigidly outward along with the muscle when force is applied, known as "animation deformity."
The method that minimizes these disadvantages is the "Dual Plane Method."

"Fully Direct Vision
Dual Plane Breast Augmentation"
Even for those with naturally small breasts,
"More Natural"
and
"More Voluminous"
A breast augmentation that is less likely to harden, with smaller incisions
and less pain, performed as a same-day procedure
Conventionally, the "Dual Plane Method" required an incision under the breast or endoscopic surgery.
By developing dedicated instruments, Director Junpei Ono devised the "Fully Direct Vision Dual Plane Method," which enables higher-precision surgery even through the underarm approach.
The "Fully Direct Vision Dual Plane Breast Augmentation," with papers published in medical journals, is a method that uses dedicated instruments through a smaller incision to perform surgery while observing every corner of the breast interior. It is a technique that allows millimeter-level adjustments previously considered impossible without an endoscope, and brings bleeding as close to zero as possible — and has been featured in medical journals as a cutting-edge breast augmentation treatment.
Furthermore, the "Fully Direct Vision Method" has been presented at the Japan Society of Aesthetic Surgery as causing less postoperative pain compared to conventional methods.
Recommended for those withthese concerns
- A-cup or B-cup, but want to naturally increase bust size by 2–3 cups
- Due to a slender build, fat injection breast augmentation could not achieve the desired size
- Another clinic recommended the submuscular method, but worried about the breast becoming hard
FEATURES
Features of Silicone Breast Augmentation (Full Open Vision / Dual Plane Method)
Natural, Fuller Bust Even from A/B Cup
The "Full Open Vision Dual Plane Method" differs from the conventional submuscular method in that a portion of the pectoralis major muscle is released from the bone (ribs and sternum), reducing the drawbacks of the submuscular method such as "upward displacement" and "hardening or movement of the bust when force is applied." In addition, since the interior of the chest is directly observed under "full open vision" and space is created with a dedicated electrosurgical device, it is possible to insert larger silicone implants in a more natural shape, which was difficult with conventional methods.
"No Drain Required," "Less Breast Hardening," "Small and Inconspicuous Incisions"
With the conventional submuscular method, a drainage tube called a "drain" was inevitably required for several days after surgery due to bleeding from the pectoralis major muscle. However, the "Full Open Vision Method," similar to "endoscopic surgery," can minimize bleeding and damage to surrounding tissue to virtually zero, eliminating the need for a "drain." This also reduces the risk of capsular contracture around the silicone implant. Furthermore, the procedure can be performed through a smaller incision compared to "endoscopic surgery." A dedicated "funnel-type insertion aid (Keller Funnel® / BI Funnel®)" is used for silicone insertion.

Q&A
Q
Is there a fee for counseling or post-operative checkups?
Counseling and post-operative checkups are free of charge. Oral medications after surgery are also provided at no cost.
Q
How long is the downtime? Please also tell me about precautions for daily life after surgery.
Please rest on the day of surgery.
You will normally come in for a checkup the following day. After the checkup, showering is permitted, but please refrain from bathing (soaking in a tub), drinking alcohol, and exercising until the sutures are removed.
From the 2nd day after surgery, you may resume normal daily activities, including desk work.
Sutures are removed approximately one week later. After removal, light exercise such as jogging is permitted, but please avoid activities that put significant strain on the arms (such as swimming, golf, or tennis) for one month.
Please refrain from wearing underwire bras or adhesive bras for one month.
Q
How long will it take for the scars to become less noticeable?
Sutures are removed after about one week, but redness at the incision site may persist for several months afterward.
Please be careful, as rubbing the area or getting sunburned may cause noticeable hyperpigmentation (darkening).
Q
Is massage necessary?
At the time of suture removal, the physician may recommend massage depending on their assessment. Please follow your doctor's instructions.
